SPRING RAINS CONTINUE INTO SUMMER RAINS
When the garden calls, one must answer. Through tilling, planting, and tending time has slipped away. I don’t quite know how I have landed here in the beginning of July. The summer sun has melted the frozen thoughts of winter away. It is now in the distant past, yet I guess as fast as time flies, winter looms in the near future.
I observed this gem laid gently on a leaf of green. I considered it quite the gift. It is the diamond I will never have. Yet for a fleeting moment, it was there. And that was enough. It took my breath away in all it’s beauty. It was set there just for me. I imagine it more precious and rare than any diamond could ever be.
Beautiful image, beautiful sentiment!
